Grilled Cheese With Truffles
Ingridients
4 Slices of Gruyère or Cheddar cheese |
4 Slices of bread |
2 Tablespoons Butter |
1 small white truffle , finely shaved |
Method
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place two slices of cheese between two slices of bread, with the buttered sides facing out.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Add shaved white truffles between the cheese slices before assembling the sandwich, reserving a few slices for garnish.
Once the sandwich is done, remove from the skillet and let it cool slightly. Slice in half and garnish with the reserved truffle slices before serving.
